Catching Up

After playing Miss Slice and Dice with my rotary cutter and finger, I have regrettably been forced to take a break from sewing... it is even a feat to type... I am learning how to do it without using my left index finger; forgive me if there are typos.

This is what I will be starting on when I get back to my sewing machine- hopefully in just a few days. I am planning on using this pattern as a quilt for myself. Its time for something new in the room and I was able to get some red and aqua fabrics at a really great price.

In a week I will have several visitors coming my way for the Labor Day weekend. Mom and Dad are coming out, and bringing Ginger with them! I can't wait, and they haven't seen my new place yet so there will be lots of fun.

Now I believe it is time for me to go and enjoy my weekend... relaxing... and taking a break from dangerous tools and freaking friends out. :)
